About Dr. Megan Kuenast:

Dr. Megan Kuenast was born and raised in Austin, Texas. She grew up around a variety of animals including dogs, cats, birds, pocket pets, and horses, and knew she wanted to be a veterinarian from a young age. She attended the University of Texas at Austin and received her Bachelor of Science and Arts degree in Biology in 2017 (Hook ’em!!). She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Mississippi State University in 2021.

While Dr. Kuenast enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine she especially enjoys soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and preventative care. Her goal is to help foster the human-animal bond through preventative care and client communication.

Dr. Kuenast and her husband Tyler have a 2-year-old daughter named Paisley and an Australian Shepherd named Finn. Outside the clinic, Dr. Kuenast enjoys spending time with family and friends, riding horses, and anything outdoors including camping, hiking, kayaking, and boating.
