About Dr. Rebecca Braun:

Dr. Rebecca Braun is originally from central Illinois and completed her undergraduate degree in molecular and cellular biology at the University of Illinois in Champaign Urbana. She then got her veterinary degree from the Ohio State University in 2016 in Columbus Ohio. She’s always enjoyed spending time with horses and other large animals as well as companion pets, so at the start of her practice she worked in mixed animal veterinary offices in southwest Missouri for 3 years.

After visiting the Austin area she and her husband Josh decided to relocate to the Round Rock area and they moved in the fall of 2019. Since moving to the Austin area Dr. Braun’s practice has focused on dogs and cats exclusively and she has a special interest in veterinary behavior including low stress/fear free handling techniques.

Dr. Braun lives with her husband Josh and two shelter dogs Kirby and Doug, and in her free time enjoys going to cars and coffee car shows, reading and walking her two pups.
